Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

• Provide care for critically ill patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and neurosurgical cases.
• Monitor neurological status, hemodynamics, and patient stability continuously.
• Administer medications, titrate IV drips, and perform advanced neurocritical interventions safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, neurosurgeons, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, ongoing care, and recovery expectations.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with Neuro ICU and facility standards.
• Promote patient safety and deliver evidence-based neurocritical care.

Requirements for the Travel Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU Role

• Active Texas RN license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Neuro ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
