Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.
Operate gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners to obtain high-quality images.
Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging results.
Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements:

ARRT(N), CNMT, or equivalent Nuclear Medicine certification required.
Active New York State license (if applicable).
Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience.
BLS certification required.
Strong technical, patient care, and communication skills.
