Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Harrisonburg, VA. This assignment consists of 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,520 for travelers or $2,070 local rate.

Key Responsibilities of the ICU RN:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and overall condition
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed
Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilators, invasive lines, and other critical care equipment
Recognize changes in patient condition and respond quickly to emergencies and clinical deterioration
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU RN experience
Active Virginia RN license or compact multistate RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong critical-care assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Experience caring for critically ill patients requiring complex interventions preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced ICU environment
