Description

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Neuro Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Atlanta, Georgia. This assignment provides a weekly blended rate of $2,125, based on three 12‑hour night shifts per week. This role is ideal for an experienced Neuro ICU RN confident in managing high‑acuity neurological and neurosurgical patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Neuro ICU RN

Provide advanced critical‑care nursing to neuro‑trauma, stroke, and neurosurgical patients
Perform frequent neuro checks and detect subtle changes in condition
Manage ventilators, ICP monitoring, vasoactive drips, EVDs, and complex neurological protocols
Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain detailed and precise documentation
Support families with education and emotional guidance during critical illness
Respond rapidly to emergencies and acute neurological deterioration

Requirements

Active Georgia RN license or compact eligibility
Current BLS and ACLS (NIHSS strongly preferred)
Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU or high‑acuity ICU experience
Strong neurological assessment and critical‑thinking skills
