Description

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Neuro PCU RN for a leading Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit in Plano, Texas. This night‑shift role is ideal for an RN with strong neuro assessment skills and experience caring for stroke, seizure, neuro‑surgical, and high‑acuity monitored patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced monitoring and nursing care to neuro PCU patients
Perform neuro assessments and trending (GCS, pupil checks, motor/sensory changes)
Administer medications, manage drips, and respond to neuro changes
Collaborate with neurologists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams
Support stroke protocols and seizure precautions
Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR

Schedule Details

3×12‑hour night shifts
36 hours/week
13‑week assignment

Qualifications

Active RN license (TX or compact)
Minimum 1 year Neuro PCU/Stepdown experience
BLS & ACLS required; NIHSS strongly preferred
Strong neuro‑assessment & critical‑thinking skills
