Description

Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Night‑Shift RN for a respected maternity program in Richmond, Virginia. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in overnight L&D care and has strong clinical judgment during high‑acuity deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive L&D care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Perform fetal monitoring and interpret tracings
Assist with deliveries and emergent OB interventions
Support epidural placement, IV therapy, and medication administration
Communicate effectively with OB teams, nursery staff, and anesthesia
Maintain complete and accurate documentation

Schedule Details

3×12‑hour night shifts
36 hours/week
13‑week contract

Qualifications

Active RN license (VA or compact)
Minimum 1 year recent L&D experience
BLS & NRP required; additional OB certifications a plus
