Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in South Boston, VA. This assignment consists of 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,600.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – PCU:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring close observation and intermediate-level care
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and overall patient status using telemetry equipment
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
Assess patient conditions and promptly identify and respond to changes in clinical status
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care plans
Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, recovery goals, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility standards
Ensure adherence to patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care protocols
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU RN experience
Active Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Telemetry experience required
Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
Experience caring for patients with complex medical, cardiac, and respiratory conditions preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
