Seven Healthcare is proud to offer a high‑earning opportunity for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse in Falls Church, Virginia. This assignment provides a weekly blended rate of $4,100, based on five 8‑hour day shifts. This role is ideal for a CVOR RN who is confident circulating and/or scrubbing for complex cardiac cases and collaborating across specialized perioperative teams.

Key Responsibilities of the CVOR RN

Provide expert perioperative nursing for CABG, valve, aortic, thoracic, and vascular cases
Circulate and/or scrub, maintaining sterile technique and strict CVOR protocols
Anticipate surgeon and anesthesia needs; ensure equipment and instruments are ready and functional
Monitor patient status, hemodynamics, and responses throughout procedures
Perform accurate counts, documentation, and adherence to safety checklists
Coordinate with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia, CV techs, and ICU teams for seamless transitions of care
Support postoperative communication and handoff to critical care

Requirements of the CVOR RN

Active Virginia RN license (or compact eligibility)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
2+ years’ recent CVOR or high‑acuity OR experience required
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and equipment
