Key Responsibilities of the RN – OB/GYN:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to women across the reproductive health spectrum, including gynecological and obstetrical patients
Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient conditions
Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately
Educate patients regarding prenatal care, gynecological health, family planning, and post-treatment instructions
Support patients through diagnostic testing, procedures, and follow-up care plans
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent RN OB/GYN experience
Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN License (if applicable)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Strong knowledge of women's health, gynecological conditions, and obstetric care principles
Excellent communication, patient education, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a busy clinical environment
