Key Responsibilities of the RN Oncology:
Provide nursing care to patients with cancer, including those undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy
Monitor and manage side effects of cancer treatments
Administer medications, IV therapies, and chemotherapy per protocol
Assess patient conditions and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, symptom management, and supportive care
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other care team members
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and infection-control standards
Requirements:
2 years of recent Oncology RN experience
Active RN license (Colorado or compact eligible)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for oncology care
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
