Description
This assignment offers a competitive weekly pay of $2,445, based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality pediatric respiratory care on 3x12 night shifts, working 36 hours per week, with an ASAP start date. This role supports pediatric patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions in a fast-paced clinical environment where strong assessment skills and collaboration are essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
• Manage ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, nebulized therapies, oxygen delivery devices, and airway clearance treatments
• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient response to therapy
• Assist with emergency respiratory interventions and rapid response support as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory equipment, treatment plans, and home care strategies when appropriate
• Document all treatments, assessments, and outcomes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary pediatric care teams
Requirements for a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
• Active RRT credential through the NBRC
• Active Georgia respiratory care license or eligibility to obtain
• Pediatric respiratory experience preferred
• BLS required (PALS preferred if required by facility)
