This assignment offers a competitive weekly pay of $3,120, based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will provide high-quality mammography imaging services on 5x8 day shifts, working 40 hours per week, with an ASAP start date. This position supports timely breast imaging services with a strong emphasis on patient comfort, image quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities of the Mammography Technologist
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams according to provider orders and facility protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, compression techniques, and radiation safety practices
• Educate and support patients through procedures with professionalism and empathy
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and completeness prior to submission
• Maintain equipment functionality, quality control, and documentation requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support efficient patient flow
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards
Requirements for a Mammography Technologist
• ARRT certification (Radiography) required
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification required
• Connecticut radiologic license (or eligibility) as applicable
• Prior mammography experience required or strongly preferred
• BLS certification required
