Key Responsibilities of the Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist:

Assist physicians during neuro interventional and endovascular procedures

Prepare, operate, and maintain specialized imaging equipment used in neurovascular procedures

Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients during diagnostic and interventional cases

Ensure radiation safety and sterile technique throughout all procedures

Administer contrast media and medications as directed, following safety protocols

Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to emergent situations

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care

Requirements:

Active Radiologic Technologist license in New York (or eligibility to obtain)

ARRT certification in Radiography required; advanced certification preferred

Minimum of 2 years of recent neuro interventional or interventional radiology experience

Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Strong technical skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail
