Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety regulations

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians

Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure accurate diagnostic results

Monitor patients during procedures and provide clear instructions and care

Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles

Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information

Collaborate with physicians and radiology staff to support effective patient care

Requirements:

Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New York (or eligibility to obtain)

ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required

Minimum of 1 year of recent nuclear medicine experience preferred

Current BLS certification

Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
