Key Responsibilities of the X-Ray Technologist:

Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders

Prepare and position patients to ensure high-quality imaging results

Operate and maintain X-ray equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards

Follow ALARA principles to ensure patient and staff safety

Accurately document procedures and patient information

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support efficient patient care

Requirements:

Active X-Ray Technologist license in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain)

ARRT certification required

Minimum of 1 year of recent radiology experience preferred

Current BLS certification

Strong attention to detail and patient-care skills
