Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist:
Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
Screen patients for MRI safety and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
Operate and maintain MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Administer contrast agents as required, following safety and procedural guidelines
Adhere to MRI safety standards, including ferromagnetic screening and emergency procedures
Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support efficient and accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
Active MRI Technologist license in New York (or eligibility to obtain)
ARRT(MR) certification required
Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience preferred
Current BLS certification
Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and patient-care skills
