Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Hampton, VA. This assignment consists of 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,600.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – PCU:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and vital signs
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
Operate telemetry and advanced monitoring equipment to identify changes in patient status
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Recognize and respond promptly to patient deterioration and emergency situations
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge plans
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all patient safety and quality standards
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU RN experience
Active Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Telemetry experience required
Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills
Experience caring for patients with cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical conditions preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care setting
