Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant:
Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans
Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities under PT supervision
Document patient progress and communicate updates to the PT
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
Maintain equipment and a safe therapy environment
Support interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Active Maryland PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
Current BLS certification
Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills
