Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an RN – Emergency Department in Norfolk, VA. This assignment consists of 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,500.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – Emergency Department:
Assess, triage, and provide care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in status
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Perform emergency procedures and assist during trauma resuscitations when required
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within electronic medical records
Adhere to all patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
Active Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC certification preferred
Experience caring for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced emergency setting
Strong critical-thinking, prioritization, and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies and high-stress situations
