Seven Healthcare is excited to offer a high‑value opportunity for an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Peoria, Illinois. This assignment features a weekly blended rate of $3,380, based on five 8‑hour day shifts. This role is ideal for a skilled Nuclear Med Tech confident in performing diagnostic molecular imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
Perform nuclear medicine studies including PET, SPECT, bone scans, thyroid imaging, cardiac stress tests, and more
Operate gamma cameras, PET scanners, and imaging workstations with precision
Maintain strict radiation‑safety protocols and documentation
Verify patient identity, history, and procedure indications
Process, analyze, and transmit high‑quality images to radiologists
Educate patients regarding exam expectations and safety considerations
Maintain equipment, quality assurance logs, and sterile environments

Requirements of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Active CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
Illinois licensure (if applicable)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years’ recent nuclear medicine experience
