Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist

Conduct detailed evaluations to identify functional limitations and set patient‑specific goals
Create and implement tailored treatment plans addressing mobility, strength, balance, and pain reduction
Provide interventions including manual therapy, gait/balance training, functional mobility, and therapeutic exercise progressions
Reassess outcomes and update plans of care to ensure continued progress
Document all services clearly and compliantly in the EMR
Coordinate care with PTAs and interdisciplinary teams to maximize outcomes
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and long‑term wellness strategies

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

Active Wisconsin PT license
Degree from an accredited PT program
Current BLS certification
Recent PT experience (inpatient, outpatient, SNF, or acute rehab) preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient‑centered care
