Key Responsibilities of the X‑Ray Technologist

Perform diagnostic radiology exams with precision and attention to detail
Utilize both fixed and portable X‑Ray equipment across multiple hospital units
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure safety at all times
Support trauma imaging, OR fluoroscopy, and emergent diagnostic needs
Maintain quality standards, radiation‑safety practices, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Document imaging procedures thoroughly and in compliance with facility requirements

Requirements of the X‑Ray Technologist

ARRT (R) certification
Eligibility for West Virginia state licensure (if required)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years’ recent radiology experience
