Seven Healthcare is proud to present an exceptional opportunity for a Travel Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) in Peoria, Illinois. This assignment features a weekly blended rate of $2,700, based on five 8‑hour day shifts. This role is ideal for an SLP dedicated to evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities of the SLP

Conduct comprehensive SLP evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive‑linguistic, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
Provide evidence‑based therapy to support communication, cognition, and safe swallowing
Collaborate with physicians, PT/OT, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and caregivers on strategies, home programs, and long‑term communication goals
Document evaluations, progress notes, and care plans accurately and timely
Advocate for patient needs and provide compassionate, patient‑focused care

Requirements of the SLP

Active Illinois SLP license
Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
Current ASHA CCC‑SLP certification
Current BLS certification
Recent clinical SLP experience preferred
