Key Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technician:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per protocol (e.g., abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular)
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication during studies
Maintain documentation accuracy and equipment readiness
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams for quality outcomes
Requirements for the Ultrasound Technician:
ARDMS certification (specialty credentials preferred)
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of recent sonography experience
Competence with ultrasound physics and scanning best practices
