Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Charleston, SC. This assignment consists of 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,915.

Key Responsibilities of the Labor & Delivery RN:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using fetal heart rate monitoring and advanced assessment techniques
Assist obstetricians, certified nurse-midwives, and anesthesia providers during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Administer medications, IV therapies, and pain management interventions in accordance with physician orders
Recognize and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies, ensuring the safety of both mother and baby
Educate patients and families on labor, childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide compassionate, family-centered maternity care

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
Active South Carolina RN license or compact multistate RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) certification preferred or required by the facility
Experience caring for high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
