Description

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a strong opportunity for a Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Fort Myers, Florida. This assignment provides a weekly blended rate of $2,450, based on three 12‑hour day shifts. This role is ideal for an experienced PCU RN skilled in caring for intermediate‑acuity patients requiring cardiac monitoring, frequent assessments, and complex clinical management.

Key Responsibilities of the PCU RN

Provide continuous nursing care to monitored/telemetry patients
Interpret ECG/telemetry rhythms and escalate abnormalities
Administer medications and titrate drips within PCU protocols
Perform comprehensive assessments and re‑assess frequently as condition changes
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in EMR
Support patient education, mobility, and safe discharge planning
Uphold strict safety, infection‑control, and PCU standards

Requirements of the PCU RN

Active Florida RN license (or compact eligibility)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Telemetry, or Step‑Down experience
