Key Responsibilities of the Neuro PCU RN
Provide advanced nursing care to monitored neurological patients
Perform frequent neuro checks and respond rapidly to status changes
Manage medications, IV drips, and neurological treatment protocols
Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, PT/OT, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain precise, timely documentation
Support families with education and clear communication during recovery
Requirements of the Neuro PCU RN
Active Georgia RN license or compact eligibility
Current BLS and ACLS; NIHSS strongly preferred
Minimum 2 years’ Neuro PCU, Neuro Tele, or PCU experience
Strong neurological assessment and clinical judgement skills
