Key Responsibilities of the PCU RN
Deliver high‑quality care to monitored/telemetry patients
Interpret ECG rhythms and escalate abnormalities appropriately
Perform frequent assessments and adjust care plans accordingly
Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage complex clinical needs
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely charting
Support patient education, mobility, and preparation for discharge
Requirements of the PCU RN
Active Georgia RN license or compact eligibility
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Step‑Down, or Telemetry experience
