Key Responsibilities of the PCU RN
Provide comprehensive care to monitored patients with complex clinical needs
Interpret telemetry strips and report abnormalities
Perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate on care plans
Document accurately and maintain clinical compliance
Work closely with providers, respiratory therapists, and allied health teams
Promote patient education, recovery, and safe discharge planning
Requirements of the PCU RN
Active Georgia RN license or eligibility
Current BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years’ recent PCU or Step‑Down experience
Strong rhythm‑interpretation and critical‑thinking skills
