Description

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a strong opportunity for an experienced Travel PACU Registered Nurse in Nashville, Tennessee. This contract includes a weekly blended rate of $2,050, based on three 12‑hour day shifts. This role is ideal for an RN skilled in post‑operative recovery care, surgical monitoring, and safe anesthesia recovery.

Key Responsibilities of the PACU RN

Monitor patients recovering from general, regional, or sedation anesthesia
Assess vital signs, airway stability, pain levels, and neuro status
Administer medications, fluids, and postoperative interventions
Perform safe and effective PACU recovery assessments
Document all care activities per facility standards
Provide education to patients and families regarding postoperative expectations and discharge instructions
Collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, OR teams, and surgical staff
Respond promptly to postoperative complications or emergencies

Requirements of the PACU RN

Active TN or compact RN license
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred)
Minimum 2 years’ recent PACU or ICU experience
