This assignment provides a weekly blended rate of $2,840, based on four 10‑hour day shifts per week. This role is ideal for a highly skilled IR RN who excels in image‑guided procedures, sedation, sterile technique, and providing safe, patient‑centered peri‑procedural care.

Key Responsibilities of the IR RN

Provide pre‑, intra‑, and post‑procedure nursing care for interventional radiology patients
Assist with procedures including angiography, embolization, drains, biopsies, ports, tunneled lines, and more
Administer and monitor moderate sedation, ensuring patient safety
Maintain sterile technique and assist with room and equipment preparation
Monitor patient vitals and hemodynamics throughout procedures
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and anesthesia providers
Provide patient education regarding procedures and post‑care instructions
Uphold safety, radiation precautions, and infection‑control protocols

Requirements of the IR RN

Active Florida RN license or compact eligibility
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, PACU, or ICU experience
Strong IV/sedation competency and procedural knowledge
