Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a Pathologist Assistant in Urbana, IL. This assignment consists of 8-hour day shifts, five days per week, totalling 40 hours, with a weekly pay of $3,300.

Key Responsibilities of the Pathologist Assistant:
Assist pathologists in the preparation and examination of surgical specimens
Perform gross dissection and description of tissues
Prepare and submit specimens for histological processing
Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation of all specimens
Assist with autopsies, including organ dissection and documentation
Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to safety and infection control standards
Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure accurate diagnoses
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program
ASCP certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) preferred or required
Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in anatomic pathology
Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and laboratory procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong communication skills
