Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for an RN – Endoscopy in Suffolk, VA. This assignment consists of 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week, totaling 40 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,800.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – Endoscopy:
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies
Perform pre-procedure assessments and ensure patients are appropriately prepared for procedures
Administer and monitor sedation medications in accordance with facility policies and physician orders
Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures while maintaining a sterile and safe environment
Monitor patients throughout procedures and during recovery, assessing for complications and adverse reactions
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, medications, and patient outcomes
Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards at all times
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience
Active Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with procedural sedation and recovery care preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Familiarity with endoscopy equipment, procedures, and patient monitoring requirements
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
