Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist:
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety
Operate radiographic equipment and maintain imaging quality standards
Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and visitors
Review images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists to support accurate diagnoses
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within electronic medical record systems
Assist with portable imaging procedures and emergency department imaging when required
Ensure equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience
Current ARRT (R) certification required
Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist licensure if required by facility regulations
Current BLS certification required
Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and radiation protection principles
Experience working in hospital, emergency department, or outpatient imaging settings preferred
Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills
