- End Date: October 5, 2025
- Contract Duration: 6 weeks
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift: 10-hour rotating shifts; weekend and on-call flexibility required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2560 - $2750 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont nursing jobs
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Recent experience in a large Level 1 Trauma Center (within the last year)
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
- Ability to circulate and scrub in the OR
- Clinical skills in general OR, orthopedics, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required (public transportation not accessible)
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality perioperative care in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center OR
- Circulate and scrub for diverse surgical procedures: trauma, orthopedics, neuro, plastics, robotics, and more
- Demonstrate scheduling flexibility for weekends and on-call shifts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient care coordination
- Comply with facility policies and complete all required work history documentation
