Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Charlotte, NC 28210 (ideal for candidates seeking North Carolina nursing jobs)
Facility Setting: Main Operating Room – 13 ORs plus 1 Procedure/Cysto room
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/13/2025)
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
Technology: EPIC EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, Omnicell Medication Dispensing, Phillips Monitors

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NC or compact state)
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (1-2 years preferred)
Proficient in circulating a variety of surgical cases: Orthopedic, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, General, Urology, Robotic, GYN, Colon, Breast, Spine, Podiatry, Plastic
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Open to first-time travel nurses and experienced travelers

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Circulate and assist in diverse surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, general, breast, urology, robotic, GYN, plastics, and more
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: anesthesia, CRNA, OR assistants, and charge nurses
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR
Participate in room turnovers, patient positioning, and support with specialized surgical tables
Promote a positive and efficient operating room environment
