CVICU Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Glendale, AZ 85306 (Arizona healthcare job)
Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed: 24 hours per week)
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
On-call & Weekend Schedule: Determined by facility

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU nursing experience (required)
Active Arizona RN license in good standing (no license hits)
Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Flu vaccination status required (declinations may be considered)
Travel nursing experience preferred
Ability to provide a completed skills checklist (within 1 year), detailed resume, and recent RN license verification
Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver's license are not eligible

CVICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the CVICU
Monitor and manage complex cardiovascular and post-operative conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and respond to medical emergencies
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to compliance standards
Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
