Travel Nursing Job Details – CVICU RN

Location: Mesa, AZ 85206 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Start Date: October 13, 2025
End Date: January 12, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 - $2,020 per week
On Call: Schedule determined by facility
Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent CVICU nursing experience required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
Must not have an Arizona home address on driver's license
Compliance with facility-specific background check requirements

CVICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, manage advanced life support equipment, and respond to cardiac emergencies
Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
