Travel Nursing Job Details – CVICU RN
- Location: Mesa, AZ 85206 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Start Date: October 13, 2025
- End Date: January 12, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 - $2,020 per week
- On Call: Schedule determined by facility
- Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent CVICU nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
- Must not have an Arizona home address on driver's license
- Compliance with facility-specific background check requirements
CVICU RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, manage advanced life support equipment, and respond to cardiac emergencies
- Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
