• Location: Hilo, Hawaii (96720) – Explore the natural beauty and welcoming atmosphere of the Big Island's east coast.
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1580–$1700
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (option to extend)
• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• Hours per Week: 32–40 hours (variable; 40 hours typical, 32 hours possible during holiday weeks)
• Shift: Variable shifts between 6:45 AM and 11:15 PM, Monday–Friday
• On-Call: Required; 1–2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month (must be within 30-minute radius for call-back)
• Unit: Operating Room (6 OR suites + 1 dedicated C-section suite)
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted State of Hawaii RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• 2–3 years of recent hospital operating room experience circulating cases
• Ability to scrub cases preferred
• Experience with Meditech and PYXIS systems is a plus
• Ability to respond to call-backs within 30 minutes

OR RN Responsibilities

• Circulate diverse surgical cases: General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology procedures
• Assist with turnover cleaning and patient transport
• Schedule cases and maintain efficient workflow in the operating room
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule, providing 24/7 coverage as assigned
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Complete orientation on day shift for up to one week or as determined by management
