Shifts: 4 x 9-hour day shifts weekly, weekend call rotation

PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in ASU/PACU nursing
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required for healthcare jobs)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

PACU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
Monitor patient status, vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for safe patient transitions
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery
Participate in weekend call rotation as scheduled
