ER RN Job Details – Inglewood, CA

• Location: Inglewood, California (zip 90301) – Los Angeles area
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Duration: 26 weeks (Start: 10/27/2025 – End: 4/26/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Openings: 9 ER RN positions available
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680–$1800

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an ER RN in an acute care hospital
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or Red Cross)
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate required
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Ability to float to other units within scope of competency

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Deliver direct patient care within the Emergency Department scope of practice
• Educate and guide patients and families; supervise other nursing staff
• Maintain professional nursing standards and ensure compliance with hospital policies
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status and care plans
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Adhere to EMTALA regulations and report child/adult abuse as required
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
