Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1940 - $1990
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (Second Floor)
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/16/2026)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratios: Days – 1:5, Nights – 1:6
• Charting System: Epic (Epic experience preferred)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin or Compact RN license (required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications (must have before start date)
• Ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips
• Two professional references from the past year (one from most recent assignment)
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• No latex allergy (facility cannot accommodate latex allergies)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and document telemetry rhythms using Epic EHR
• Administer medications and blood products per physician orders
• Initiate and maintain IVs and peripheral lines
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
• Document patient care in Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in orientation and complete all required training modules
