Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Glendale, AZ 85306 – Access to Phoenix healthcare jobs, excellent amenities, and beautiful parks.
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Start Date: November 24, 2025
- End Date: February 23, 2026
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880–$2020 per week
- On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
- Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
CVICU RN Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU nursing experience required
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
- No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (declinations considered with documentation)
- Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license
- Compliance with all facility background and onboarding requirements
- At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to CVICU patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in the intensive care unit
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
