Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Glendale, AZ 85306 – Access to Phoenix healthcare jobs, excellent amenities, and beautiful parks.
Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Start Date: November 24, 2025
End Date: February 23, 2026
Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880–$2020 per week
On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility

CVICU RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU nursing experience required
Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
Travel nursing experience preferred
Flu vaccination required (declinations considered with documentation)
Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license
Compliance with all facility background and onboarding requirements
At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to CVICU patients
Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in the intensive care unit
Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
