ICU RN Job Details
- Location: Glendale, Arizona 85306 (Phoenix metro area)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site
- Openings: 2 ICU RN positions
- On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
- Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent ICU nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- No license hits or disciplinary actions
- Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
- Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license are ineligible
- Ability to meet all background and compliance requirements
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions as needed
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled by the healthcare facility
