PCU Registered Nurse Job Details

Location: Gilbert, Arizona 85234
Assignment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site
Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Start Date: November 24, 2025
End Date: February 23, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
Openings: 2 Registered Nurse positions
On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience
Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license
Compliance with all facility background checks and documentation requirements

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately and in a timely manner
Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Utilize advanced clinical skills to manage complex patient cases
Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and quality standards
