Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Ithaca, NY

Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 2, 2025 – September 1, 2025)
Healthcare Setting: Endoscopy Unit (inpatient and endoscopy center)
Shift: Variable shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
Call: Required between inpatient and endoscopy center
Employment Type: Travel RN, W2
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2140 - $2300

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (New York State or compact license)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Endoscopy nursing or acute care setting
BLS certification required
Ability to participate in on-call rotation
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings
Monitor patient status before, during, and after endoscopy procedures
Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures and clinical interventions
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
Participate in the unit's call rotation as required
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
