Homecare RN Job Details
- Location: Juneau, Alaska (Zip: 99801) – Alaska nursing jobs
- Healthcare Setting: Home Health with occasional floating to Hospice
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: November 3, 2025 – End: February 2, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2220 - $2380 per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (Standard schedule is 40 hours per week; 36 hours are guaranteed, with the potential to work up to 40 hours depending on patient needs and scheduling.)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Mileage: Paid at government rate
- On-call: Required
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Active State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid driver’s license, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in home health, hospice, or a comparable patient care setting
- Hospice nursing experience preferred
Home Health RN Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes
- Float to hospice care settings as needed
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Accurately document patient care and maintain timely records
- Participate in on-call rotation as required for home health and hospice services
