Endoscopy RN Job Details

Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York nursing jobs)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (11/17/2025 – 2/16/2026)
Healthcare Setting: Endoscopy Unit
Shift: Day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week (40 guaranteed hours)
Call Requirement: Includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays (must be amenable to call on either a holiday or a holiday weekend)
Employment Type: Travel RN assignment
Number of Positions: 2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy nursing or acute care RN experience
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Ability to participate in call rotation (weeknights, weekends, holidays)
Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Endoscopy Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to medical emergencies
Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures and sedation management
Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedure care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety protocols
Participate in call rotation, including holiday and weekend coverage
