Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Amarillo, Texas 79106 (Texas healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), Monday through Friday
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
• Call Requirement: Weeknights (7p-7a) and weekends (7a-7p)
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Number of Procedures per Day: 12

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Recent Epic EMR experience (within last 6 months)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the Amarillo facility
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if required

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care for cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
• Circulate and scrub during Cath Lab procedures
• Monitor procedural sedation and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
• Participate in on-call rotation for weeknights and weekends as required
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
