Travel Nurse Job Details

  • Location: Pocatello, ID 83201 (Idaho nursing jobs)

  • Shift: 4x10 hour days (07:30 - 18:00)

  • Travel Radius: Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Idaho or compact state)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system
  • Ability to circulate and scrub for cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Skilled in interpreting and managing cardiac dysrhythmias
  • Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
  • Meets 100-mile travel radius requirement for travel nurse eligibility

Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities

  • Assist with a range of Cath Lab procedures, including coronary interventions, PCI, structural heart, device implantation, and electrophysiology (EP) studies
  • Circulate and scrub during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic data
  • Administer and monitor procedural sedation for patients
  • Manage pulmonary artery lines and Swan Ganz catheters
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Document all patient care activities accurately in Epic EMR
